A Brief Introduction of Rubber Coated Neodymium Magnets

A Brief Introduction of Rubber Coated Neodymium Magnets

Rubber-coated neodymium magnets have high durability and high friction. The rubber coating acts as a protective role for neodymium magnets against chipping and exposure to liquids. Rubber-coated magnets can be used in many fields. If you have any needs, please contact us.

These rubber coated neodymium magnets are a combination of high-strength rare earth magnets with a durable rubber-plastic coating, which are especially suitable for application where the surface is easily scratched or damaged. Also, the rubber-plastic coating protects the magnet from debris and corrosion, as well as provides excellent sliding resistance due to the friction between the rubber and the steel surface bonded by the magnet. Manufacturers and industrial designers use rubber magnets for fixing and rubber-coated neodymium pot magnets are very suitable for aquariums, construction sites and outdoor use. Some plastic-coated mounting magnets have a central threaded hole (internal thread) so that they can be connected with bolts, or they have a central threaded stud (external thread) so that they can be inserted into hooks or eye bolts. Besides, we have pre-drilled rubber magnets that can be fixed with screws or nails.

The black plastic coating prevents corrosion or debris damage to the magnet and also prevents damage to the surface being installed. The high friction of the coating greatly improves the retention force of vertical surfaces.

If you need a magnet with a soft surface to install stuff on a refrigerator, car or any other surfaces you want to protect, please do not waste time soaking it in plastic because it will not work. Nothing can stick on the surface of the rare earth magnet. While the tape only provides temporary protection, but it will tear unexpectedly, which tells damages will happen anyway.
